Air Quality Experts You Can Count On
An important aspect of any home’s controlled climate that is often overlooked is indoor air quality. The quality of the air inside directly affects everyone in a home. When contaminants infiltrate the home, the HVAC system will circulate them throughout, causing them to be inhaled. These contaminants can exacerbate respiratory issues, enflame allergies and even cause illness. That is why it is crucially important to proactively improve your air quality inside.

Humidifiers & Dehumidifiers
In Charleston, when it gets hot it gets humid, and when it gets cold it gets dry. Both of these extreme situations diminish indoor air quality. Our humidification and dehumidification systems solve that problem.
One of the latest advancements in comfort systems technology is programmable thermostats that allow you to program a schedule in which your thermostat will automatically adjust to predetermined temperatures.
Côr™ Wifi Thermostat

Air Filtration Systems
One of the simplest, oldest and still very effective ways of improving indoor air quality is with air filters. Most HVAC systems come standard with a filter but many air cleaners also utilize a filtration system. The system usually pulls air from the indoor environment into it before it releases it again. The air, on its way into the system, passes through a filter first. That filter, made from thin fabrics that have extremely small holes in them that only air can pass through. The larger, contaminant particles are caught and trapped within the filter.
Filters can either be disposable, which are changed out regularly, or washable. Washable filters are common in electrostatic air purification systems.
These devices do precisely what the name implies; they clean the air. They do this in many different ways. Some create an electrical field that polarizes contaminant molecules and causes them to magnetically attract to metal filter plates to easily be wiped away later. Some use UV light to render contaminants sterile and harmless and even some will turn oxygen into ozone which also disinfects air.
